An oral implant (also known as an endosseous implant or component) is a prosthesis that interfaces with the bone of the jaw or head to support a dental prosthesis such as a crown, bridge, denture, or face prosthesis or to work as an orthodontic anchor. The basis for modern oral implants is a biological process called osseointegration, in which materials such as titanium or zirconia form an intimate bond to the bone. The dental implant component is very first positioned to make sure that it is most likely to osseointegrate, then an oral prosthetic is added. A variable amount of recovery time is needed for osseointegration before either the oral prosthetic (a tooth, bridge, or denture) is attached to the implant or an abutment is put which will hold an oral prosthetic or crown. Success or failure of implants depends mostly on the thickness and wellness of the bone and gingival tissues that border the dental implant, but additionally on the health and wellness of the person obtaining the treatment and drugs which impact the chances of osseointegration. The amount of stress and anxiety that will be put on the implant and fixture throughout typical feature is also reviewed. Planning the position and number of implants is vital to the long-term health and wellness of the prosthetic because biomechanical pressures developed during eating can be considerable. The setting of implants is established by the placement and angle of adjacent teeth, by lab simulations or by utilizing computed tomography with CAD/CAM simulations and surgical guides called stents. The prerequisites for long-term success of osseointegrated oral implants are healthy bone and gingiva. Considering that both can atrophy after tooth removal, pre-prosthetic treatments such as sinus lifts or gingival grafts are often needed to recreate perfect bone and gingiva. The last prosthetic can be either repaired, where a person can not remove the denture or teeth from their mouth, or removable, where they can get rid of the prosthetic. In each case an abutment is affixed to the implant fixture. Where the prosthetic is dealt with, the crown, bridge or denture is taken care of to the joint either with lag screws or with dental concrete. Where the prosthetic is detachable, a matching adapter is positioned in the prosthetic to ensure that both items can be protected together. The dangers and difficulties associated with dental implant therapy divide right into those that occur throughout surgical treatment (such as excessive bleeding or nerve injury, poor main security), those that take place in the initial 6 months (such as infection and failure to osseointegrate) and those that happen long-lasting (such as peri-implantitis and mechanical failings). In the visibility of healthy and balanced cells, a well-integrated implant with ideal biomechanical tons can have 5-year plus survival prices from 93 to 98 percent and 10-to-15-year life expectancies for the prosthetic teeth. Long-lasting studies reveal a 16- to 20-year success (implants enduring without problems or revisions) between 52% and 76%, with complications taking place approximately 48% of the moment.

Dr. Syrus Elicus did a fantastic job doing a composite on one of my teeth. I never liked the asymmetrical shape of it and always wanted it to be more square. He did it in like 15 minutes! Thank you so much Dr Syrus I am so happy with my result.

I loved my experience here. Every single member of their staff was excellent, kind, pleasant and knowledgable. There is an ease of the place, a peaceful one, not only in their energy but also in their holistic approach. It was my first time being treated with airflow and it was a wonderful experience. This provider gives me great confidence as my health is everything, we only have one body and as we are learning, oral care is a huge component of that. Thank you to all the staff at Dental Health and Wellness Newport.

The staff is thoughtful, kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. The dentists spend plenty of time explaining and showing what is happening in your mouth. It was wonderful to not feel like they were rushing just to move on to the next patient. I felt that my concerns and questions were worth answering and that what I had to say was valuable. I highly recommend Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness.

I have been a patient at Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness for about 4 years now. I am very thankful for this dental office. The staff is excellent! The office manager and other office staff, the assistants, hygenists, and dentists.... they are all excellent! I feel very comfortable and confident in knowing that this is a staff that is concerned about my oral health. I recently brought my oldest child here as well for a tooth extraction and the service and treatment that he received was excellent. I used to drive to Beverly Hills but today I went to the Newport Beach office and I am so thankful that the drive is closer for me now!!! You will be in good hands. The service and treatment is excellent!!!

Avoid Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness—overpriced, dishonest, and unprofessional. Rude & Incompetent Staff: The front desk, especially office manager Leeshane, is extremely rude, hangs up on patients, and lies about billing. I’ve spent months trying to fix an insurance issue due to their incorrect Tax ID, which caused multiple claim rejections. They claimed to resubmit my claim 10+ times, but Delta Dental only received two incorrect submissions. Hidden Costs & Deceptive Practices: Came in for an X-ray, but they performed a Cone Beam CT Scan without telling me the price or that it wasn’t a standard X-ray. They never explain what they’re doing or what it will cost until you get the bill. Mediocre Dental Work at Insane Prices: Extremely overpriced for average at best dental care. They focus on money, not patients. 🚨 This place is a scam. If you value your money and sanity, STAY AWAY!
